1. How do you manufacture door handles?  

Before we can manufacture a door handle, we must first speak with the client and get a clear picture of the design they have in mind. Some clients envision a simple design, while others prefer a method that sparks creativity and is unique. Once the clients’ design is approved, we move forward and manufacture the product. Our CNC precision routing equipment creates the silhouette of your design with a powder coating process immediately after. Me Custom Handles has a team of USA-based welders, machinists, casters, finishers, and assemblers who proudly come together to deliver finished products that exceed expectations every time. 

2. How can you help clients with the manufacturing process? 

Some clients have an exact vision of what they want when they contact us, while others don’t, and that is okay! We are here to help you create a product that you fall in love with every time you lay your eyes on it. To start this process, we always recommend that clients submit a quote form. After the form is submitted, we will contact you for a free design consultation. 

A consultation is crucial because it allows our designers to get as much information from the client as possible. Once the designer knows what direction to take, they will create a conceptual drawing and send it to you. If you would like to make changes to the design, we will happily do that for you, OR if you want the design in the first go-around, you will receive a 3D rendered image, known as a (CAD drawing). Once we get your whole stamp of approval, your design will go into the manufacturing process.

3. What materials are used for your door handles? 

We can manufacture door handles from a variety of materials. Some of those materials include; acrylic, wood, stainless steel, brass, and aluminum. Me custom Handles is open to working with our clients, and if there is a specific material that you would like to use for a door handle, our team will research the possibility of making that a reality for you. 

4. Do your door handles need a permit? 

No, there is no special permit needed for our custom door handles. Another piece of information is that our door handles do not require inspection before installation. When you receive your custom door handle, it is ready to go and enjoy!

5. Is a specific door needed to have a custom door handle? 

No, a specific door is NOT needed to have a custom door handle! You can have a glass door, metal door, or a typical wood door to install a custom door handle. 

6. What happens if the door handle doesn’t fit? 

Our design experts will cut no corners to ensure that your door handle will fit during the design process. In the odd case that your door handle does not fit OR if you are planning on moving and want to take the handle with you, Me Custom Handles offers an adjustable system. This adjustable system is at an additional cost to solve sizing issues you may be experiencing.
